Indeed.

13-0
11-1

Problem solved.

The SEC isn't guaranteed three NY6 spots.

We have too many teams to pass. Not happening.

yeah he is confused. Cotton Bowl is at large vs at large. The sugar bow is the one with best avail SEC vs best avail Big 12, when NOT hosting a playoff game.....which they are this year

some of you are so foolish.. Wisconsin is 100% in if they win out. Literally no discussion. Leaving out an undefeated Big Ten champ would be setting a bad precedent

In no way, shape, or form is it 100% that Wisky is in @ 13-0.

13-0 Georgia, 11-1 Notre Dame, 12-1 Oklahoma, 12-1 Clemson, 12-1 Alabama, 13-0 Wisconsin - who gets in?

I would gladly ban bet you over that. If Wisconsin goes 13-0, they are in.

Better than yours, not that it's relevant to this topic.

Wisconsins resume is week, but would they have the guts to leave out undefeated big ten champ?
Really have a hard time imagining that tbh

When that 13-0 team has a resume from the Big Ten west, it's possible.

I agree with you original sentiment though - like every other year every, we won't see it play out with such high drama.

I know this isn't their "mandate" of getting the best 4 in, but we will already have seen Bama/UGA in the SECCG on a neutral field. They say the goal is to get the best 4 in, but the real goal is to get the best team in. The best team doesn't lose the SECCG.

The way Bama/UGA are being fluffed up is so reminiscent of OSU/Michigan in 2006. I'm not saying the end will be the same, but SEC fans were livid when the thought that OSU/Michigan could have a rematch for the National Title was proposed, yet now people thing a 13-0 B1G champ should be left out? That isn't good for the game

Ya man. Simple logic says they're in

But I think the consequences are too deep.

Compelling ooc games are big money. If those go away the networks will not be happy.

Plus Wisconsin is not an attractive team. Ohio State it'd be different

100% wrong

It would set a precedent that would make the game so much better

Why would Bama get in in this scenario? They won't have a good resume and also won't have a conference title. Their resume will have Auburn and who? maybe Miss. St. and maybe LSU? Wisconsin will have the B1G east winner and potentially Iowa and Michigan, and would have won the conference.

If Bama wins the SECCG, then UGA has a better shot, as they will have a more compelling resume IMO, but then you could leave ND out

The committee being smart enough to realize they have absolutely zero chance to beat a top team

ETA: Buuuuuut by all means, throw Wisconsin and Miami in there. Alabama could use another ring(if they make it to the playoffs).

Both Bama and UGA have much tougher schedules than Wisky....

Plus they have to beat UM 1st before we talk anything...

Yeah, I put their chances of getting through the Big Ten championship game undefeated at about 3%.

You can leave them out, but you've still got 4 teams for 3 spots. Wisky over Oklahoma?
