I believe 1 loss ND will still play in BCSCG Vs. Bama

Oregon will be ranked ahead of Florida for sure, possibly Georgia, too.

Wait. Now we have to root for Lane Kiffin?

Just to make the case for Florida, assuming we somehow beat FSU, we will have beaten 4 current top 10 BCS teams. NO ONE else has a resume like that.
Unfortunately I don't think the voters will give us enough respect to get us in the game even though the computers love us.

As much as sentiment would be against another all-SEC title game, it's tough to see how ND would stay above Florida if they beat FSU.
The computer numbers would be close, if not completely in favor of Florida, in this case and to see ND lose and not drop at least beneath Florida coming off a victory over a top 10 FSU team would seem unprecedented.

Florida vs Bama will be the most deserving game if Bama blows out Georgia and Florida blows out FSU, but same can go for Georgia vs Florida
So It will be either Bama/Georgia/ Florida/ and long shot LSU in the Sugar Bowl

Notre Dame loses and they have no shot.

Oregon is done
Fla state will most likely beat florida.
If ND loses (which I think is very unlikely) to USC (who's crumbling) then it comes down to 1 loss ND or 1 loss Fla St
I think ND gets the nod in the polls

There's actually a non-ridiculous path to AP ending up with Ohio State as its end-of-season #1.

This would be a crazy scenario.
If FSU beat Florida and then win the ACC champ game, then they have a shot... but the computers hate them.
If Florida wins, then wow.
The top 10 is dominated by the SEC. There are not many conferences that can jump over.
I'm not sure how far Oregon will fall but they still have to play 2 good teams.
There are too many moving parts to say what would happen but I would guess the Bama/GA winner playing Florida or Oregon.

if they lose, fsu beats florida, bama beats georgia.....rematch bama lsu
oregon and kstate are out, oregon losing at home 3 touchdown favorite, and kstate getting throttled their both out.

Oregon is not out. LSU is completely out of it.
ND loses next week which is very possible.
Oregon beats Oregon St next week.
FSU will beat Florida.
With that Oregon will probably will go from 5 to 2 and play SEC champion. Doesn't matter if Oregon wins their conference like the NC last year.

A two loss team won't get in without everyone losing... but its happened before.

K State is out, however Oregon can beat Oregon State and UCLA and be OK. That being said they need Stanford to lose next week.

Oregon doesn't have to win the conference to play in the title game. You as a Bama fan should know that

They need the strength of schedule boost though. A win over UCLA would help them since the computers don't like them. Plus the voters will have another week to move them up. They lost with only one game to go which is hard to recover from without a lot of people losing like 2007.
