There had to be a breaking point. An incident, an argument, a loss, a moment that doomed the football marriage of Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy.
quote:
The worst-kept secret at 1265 Lombardi Avenue was that Rodgers seemed to loathe his coach from the moment McCarthy was hired.
quote:
"Mike has a low football IQ, and that used to always bother Aaron," this source says. "He'd say Mike has one of the lowest IQs, if not the lowest IQ, of any coach he's ever had."

He was the OC for the Saints when they got their first-ever playoff win. With AARON BROOKS 6 games into his career at QB.
He had some kind of skill.

It's pretty damn obvious that Mike wasn't a fan of Aaron's lifestyle

aaron rodgers is awfully judgmental of others. how about he take a look in the mirror and take his profession a bit more serious. he's the nfl's biggest waste of god given talent.

McCarthy was the offensive coordinator with the 49ers and pushed for them to draft Alex Smith over Rodgers, which led to one of the most awkward draft moments that I can remember. I'm sure that didn't help their relationship

He might not be that bright, but I have a hard time believing something coming from Aaron Rodgers.

What is Aaron's lifestyle? He's pretty lowkey imo.

I think they actually call it "on the down low", not "low key".

Well that “skill” ran out in GB. Rodgers bailed that dude out for a solid 2-3 yrs.

Rodgers seems like a piece of shite human. There's just too many stories out there for it to be a rumor.

Is this where we bring up the fact that he doesn’t get along with his parents or brother. Because that’s what usually happens in an Aaron Rodgers thread. Which is completely pointless.

That he's cut all ties with his family
And sends back their christmas presents they send him unopened.

Yeah, McCarthy was great for his first few years because his play style was innovative but it seemed like he never improved his play calling or design. It was almost like he had a book of plays that at first were great, but he never made adjustments so people caught on. If you're not constantly improving and innovating you're going to get left behind in the NFL. He also leaned entirely too much on Rodgers -- yeah he's extremely talented but you're going to have to run the ball as well. McCarthy is the poster child for abandoning the run.
His tenure in GB just felt stale for his last 2-3 years.

Rodgers is just a weird dude. None of his former teammates really speak that highly of him. Greg Jennings was on Colin Cowherd’s show during last season and he shed some light on Rodgers.

Dumped Olivia Munn for Danica Patrick.
Not saying Danica is bad.
Munn is better though.

So he dumps famous ppl. If that’s the case Leo D is fricking batshit crazy.

Wasn’t Greg Jennings pissed for a long period of time that the Packers released him and kept dudes like Cobb and Nelson around?
Not saying it isn’t fact based. But I can’t really get mad at a dude for having a long term grudge against his HC because of what happen during his draft.
