Wasn't awful with the Browns, but with the supporting cast he had, he never had a chance.

He also had a screw in inserted in his thumb.

His offensive line was epic in its suckiness. I still have flashbacks of Steve Zahursky starting at left tackle and screaming at the TV "Watch Out!" as Joey Porter or Peter Boulware would close in on Couch.

back in 99, after the first TD hookup, I thought "Couch to KJ" would be etched in NFL lore forever...

Guess not.

Had to look it up just now, but they also had the rotting corpse of Errict Rhett in 2000.

Prentice was especially galling b/c he's from Ohio, so all the Browns fans I know LOVED him, despite the obvious evidence that he had no moves, quickness, strength, or intelligence.

But he was from Ohio and rushed for like 6000 yards at the other Miami.

James Jackson and Jamel White too. I think I had both on FF teams at one time or another.
