They've all won National Championships more recently than the entire SEC.
As a matter of fact the SEC hasn't even made it to the Title Game the last 3 years.

Kind of sad watching SEC fans gloat about FINALLY beating Ohio State by 1 point in week 2.
We'll just ignore the fact that #11 Oklahoma lost to an unranked Big10 team

I’m glad I root for my team rather than a conference. This seems so lame

Texas is not an SEC team. They just happen to be realigned. Like the big 10.

this^^^. there are enough playoff spots now. rooting for a conference is pointless.

maybe ND joins a conference one day, but i still won't give a rudy poo about it.

meh. schedules get made way in advance. as far as schedules, some teams in the big10 have a good schedule depending on the draw. the sec has good schedules for the most part, but they wanted to stockpile teams for tv contracts because they don't really have anyone that can pull the same amount of money on their own. price of doing business.

i mean, ND always schedules at least one good non-acc team and the acc itself is weak. can't really get the same arrangement with the b10 or the sec. not having sc this year hurts. we scheduled 3 b10 teams and byu, we play miami and smu in our acc schedule. sc will be back on the schedule. stanford and navy are traditional games.

why give up independence when we don't have to join a conference for money? until we can get more from a conference than we can make on our own it's pointless.

for the record, i agree with ND being left out over miami last year. we do have a soft schedule some years and we HAVE to win our tougher games.

That's a lot of words to say you play a pussy schedule and don't have to play a Conference Championship Game against yet another top ranked team.
ND & UConn can just play each other in the "Pussy Independent Schedule" National Championship Game every year

outside of osu, mich and maybe an sec team or two, everyone else has to be in a conference to make the same money. ND doesn't. enjoy rooting for your conference. get you some psychological capital from it.

ND plays a pussy schedule and then wants to back their way into a CFP that was built by the Big10 & SEC.
Either join one of them or F off.
