weird how CP3 had his worst w/s, w/s per 48, BPM, and VORP of his career his last year in Houston,

Chris had kinda let himself go. He was overweight and hurt. Missed 25 games in HOU both years. When HOU shipped him out of town, it was his wake up call that changes needed to be made. He went vegan, and has not been injured since. Sometimes people need something like that to happen, to become a better version of themselves.

If you know anything about all star game. Which I assume you don’t, when you miss a lot of time you typically get left off the all star team.

Russ, had probably his second, 3rd or 4th beat year of his career last year, when most thought he was done. He was much better last year than this one.

Is that why he made the all star game with the Hornets playing in 45 games, and the Clippers playing in 60, but he can't make it in Houston playing in 58?

And yes i'm aware of the stupidity of how you make an all star team.

I sure do admire you're ability to try to turn everything around in your favor.

You have to consider when in the season he got hurt. And also who the competiton was for those spots. It’s not as simple as you are making it out to be. You got to dig deeper.

I like Chris, but he didn’t hold up his end of the deal in HOU. Neither did russ. Part of the deal is you got to keep yourself healthy and be available for the playoffs.

Chris year 1 - hurt
Chris year 2 - worse ball of his career
Russ - hurt, worse player on the court in the playoffs

It is not on harden that his robin hurt themselves. Also hard to blame him for wanting a team with 2 robins in case one of them ends up hurt again.

The reason neither Russ or Paul worked in Houston is because of Harden

He will not allow anyone to handle the ball. Was that way in Houston and is that way in Brooklyn. Fortunately with Brooklyn he has a top ten all time player in Durant, and a current top 20 player in Irving.

That is funny bc russ averaged 27 ppg on 47% shooting in HOU. The only times he average more points than that he shot 42%. Russ was never more efficient than when he played alongside harden.

Re: harden won’t let anyone handle the ball.

BKN 27-7 best offense in nba history w harden playing PG

WAS 10 seed and 20th best offense in the nba this season with Russ dominating the ball

THAT is why you give harden the ball and not russ, or anyone else for that matter. Harden has a long track record of leading the greatest offenses in the history of the league. A russ -lead offense is below average
