I've seen ALOT of 15 day DL's and the number of times it's actually 15 is very minimal, especially for pitchers - but it's possible.......we'll see.
It's also possible they did this because he's already 14 innings above his maximum for a season ever in the majors and they are trying to get him to the post season.
Either way, the risk they took is tangible.
