Mediocre 48. Penalty strokes.
Two in the water off the tee on a par 5. Salvaged a triple somehow.
Wind was brutal. I moved my 3W pretty nicely. I was about even in the fairway a few times with some of the guys I was playing with who were hitting drivers pretty well.

I got paired up with two guys going off the back.
I step on the first tee straight out of the car and blade a 58* (115 yard par 3). Stuck my next one to about 15 feet, and three putted down hill. Left my comebacker on the lip.
I hate starting out on 10. I'm always so stiff and it's hard to get a good feel on hitting my wedge.
Just gotta keep working on consistency.

Sometime about mid-May last year. My iron distances exploded. I deloft my clubs a bit though because I close the face at address...a lot.
My 58* degree was probably my 80 yard club. I hit PW on 10. Now I only hit 56 or 58 on 10 depending on pin location.
I responded on the OT yard thread.

Maybe next time try hitting a less lofted club with an easier swing until you loosen up

I probably would have made a worse swing trying to control my 52 or 56.
Hit the rest of my wedges really well the rest of the day. Knocked a PW to about 8 feet on 11. Unfortunately, I had already put two in the water that hole.
