anyone have any particularly useful putting drills?
my biggest problem putting is that i tend to cut the ball
i try my hardest for a straight back takeaway, but my follow through tends to come hard inside
i pull a lot of putts because of it, even short ones

Open stance, put ball back in stance a little. Make it rain
That's what I did anyway

Have you ever tried kinda tapping your putter prior to your first move?
I used to do it for all putts, but now I do it on long putts or putts off the green where I have trouble making that first move.I think I'm gonna go back to doing it all the time. Helps me from standing over too long and over thinking my stroke.

Unconscious putting improved my putting more than I can believe

I can almost guarantee you this stems from setup issues. Something, somewhere is is out of line.

i considered this, but forgot to bring tees to the practice green and wasn't going back
some days i putt well and don't want to change anything....but my stroke is very inconsistent

Practice putting 5 foot putts with just the left hand on the club. Hit 200 putts with just the left hand from five feet.
Problem solved. I should charge for this advice. Haha

i don't have the patients to hit 25 putts let alone 200. I guess i will never get my stroke avg from 75 to 65
