Day after a hurricane

Troof. We played in a torrential downpour and there were rivers on every green. Quit playing til the water quit flowing, and we never even had to get back on the path. The clubhouse is , but some of the holes and the stretch by the park piss me off

I don't think he ever made the cut but he didn't embarrass himself either. I had another friend that played the mini-tours who played a few times and missed the cut too. Big leaps in talent from mini tour- Adams tour-nationwide-PGA.

My buddy that played on the mini-tours said people on tour don't know what pressure is. He said pressure is using your last $500 for an entry fee when your rent is due on Monday

I have got to play this la tour place before they turn it into a shooting range. Also, how can anything in Houma be "stuffy"?

Not true. A ton of guys on the Adams and Hooters are capable of playing on tour. And the majority of tour players played mini tours.

The big leap is the people who think they're good and they're not.

Nothin is stuffy. Ellendale is fine. La tour is gonna be all residential soon.

Within a couple years or so. That course won't be able to sustain. Not enough money down there.

Ellendale is what I would imagine Augusta would be like if it was in Houma. Many people there are nice, but when you're not a member, you are treated like a second class citizen by some of the membership. And I'm not taking about just not letting you pay through

I know a lot of them come up that way, but at one point there was one guy who won the Adams money title like 3 times in 5 years and never moved up. My buddy played in the Pub-links and said if you don't play greens like that regularly, you have no chance

I don't pay attention to people at clubs, or even give a shite how they pretend to wanna treat me.

I out deadlift them, and they GTFO out of my way.
Or they feel the wrath.

Never been there but the elitist crowd is strong at Ellendale. Art could probably vouch for that too. That's why my FIL quit E-dale and joined LaTour

Plus LaTour was designed by Toms.

Who cares?...... They get out of the way if you deadlift.

Doesn't mean they aren't capable. It's a matter of playing good at the right time. Mondays are a shoot out, and 2nd stage Q School is the hardest thing in the world.

Most common thing people do is blame the greens

My buddy played the hooters and was leading the money list back in the day. Back then you got a 100k payday if you won the money title. He quit the tour to go play on the Nike tour. It turned out well for him.
