Anyone familiar with Florida or Mizzou know why this total is 51? It was even bet up from 48 too. I'm aware of Del Rio playing, but I can't see UF putting up 35+, and Mizzou shouldn't do much at all. I would have it at 45.

Personally, when a line seems too good to be true (like Wake +21.5), it usually is.
The biggest favorite FSU has been all season was -10.5 vs UNC, so for them to be -21.5 vs a 5-1 team makes me think Vegas likes FSU and is trying to run people off of FSU.

Appreciate that and understand that angle well. Usually seems to me when i follow the logic you mention (taking a fla st) i get burned. Didnt know of there was a football angle here im not seeing

My argument against betting the over of that game is that both defenses are top 10 and wisconsins offense is anemic.
I see wisconsin scoring somewhere btw 6-17 points and ohio st somewhere btw 20-34 points

I get that line of thinking, but these types of spreads I typically stay away from. You can out-think yourself. Hell, maybe Vegas out-thinks itself. That FSU-USF line was one of those, but I jumped on Florida State because of a clear talent/depth difference.
