I would probably go with Gonzalez as my third
That was my first reaction, but everyone is predicting that Royal is going to have a good game. Then, on the Gonzalez issue, I hate the fact that Clark is back and Harrison is still healthy. I kind of drafted Gonzalez counting on Harrison to be iffy for a quarter of the season.

Haha, true. Buckhalter still isn't a bad insurance policy for Westbrook owners.

ETA: Westbrook practices...

quote:

Brian Westbrook, RB PHI
News: The Philadelphia Daily News reports that Eagles RB Brian Westbrook appeared to be doing everything with the first-team offense Thursday after being listed as limited on Wednesday.
Analysis: After this report, it appears more likely that Westbrook will take the field in Week 5 against the Redskins in Washington. Continue to monitor his status on Friday and hope he doesn't suffer any setbacks. If he's active, Westbrook is a risky injury start against the Skins, but you should probably give him a shot in most leagues as you didn't draft him in the top five to have him sitting on your bench.

I like the trade. McNabb > Edwards, Moss > Bowe, Jacobs > then Jones but Jacobs is also an injury waiting to happen. I say take it.

Still looking to unload Adrian Peterson for a good QB + another player.

Getting ready to propose a trade for Phillip Rivers.

Who else should I ask for and it would still be a balanced trade?

Santana Moss
Felix Jones
Muhsin Muhammed
Jerious Norwood

Obviously, best case scenario is Rivers + the best of those four.

I'm leaning towards Norwood, I think that would be a trade he would accept.

Give Peterson for Rivers and Norwood. Would this be a good trade for me?

BTW, I have no QB and it has most likely lost me two games.

Eddie Royal
Isaac Bruce
Bobbi Engram

What do you say?

hmm I dunno Terror I'd stick w/ Peterson. Who are your other RBs? What QBs are available on the waiver wire? What other QBs you got now?

Domenick Hixon is supposed to start for Plaxico, who would be a better pick up Hixon or Steve Smith?

Smith has caught 11 balls so far and Hixon 6..

But the question is who is filling in for Plax. I heard it was Hixson. I guess they like him. I had high hopes for Smith this year, but he has not impressed anyone. Unless Smith is playing in Plax's spot, I'd go with Hixson.

It is quite possible that royal will do well this weekend. I just think P Manning is going to have one heckuva game for some reason, so I would take any and all targets possible. That's just me though

I would be very hesitant to get rid of AP (MIN I am assuming). Who are some available free agent qb's?

If I did trade AP, I better get freaking TO or B Marshall (along w/ Rivers) and have LT and Turner in my backfield + the guy's firstborn (well, maybe not to that extreme). My point is that it would be very hard for me to find a trade that someone would be willing to give up for AP.

I would say that Smith is a better pickup (sorry wrlakers) than Hixon. I do agree that he has not been doing as well as expected, but I just think the matchup will favor him for some reason. Do you get return points?

No worries, Voo Doo. I don't claim to be the expert on the NYG. In fact, I stopped watching Smith after Week 1. Too busy watching Eddie Royal and Phillip Rivers. Anyway, I'm just saying that I heard Hixson was in for Plax, not that I think Hixson is better than Smith or anything like that. I'm trying to share information that might help that owner make an informed decision. I'm not trying to make the decision for him. In my book, you are the owner/coach/GM of your team. You have no one to blame but yourself when wrong decisions are made.

That's what it's all about brutha
The fact that people get offended because your opinion differs from theirs is freaking hilarious
I am like you, I will be glad to offer my 0.02 and you can take it or leave it. Then you have the ones that ask for your opinion & then expect you to justify your thoughts to them (WTF). Last time I checked you and I were not getting paid for this.

If you had to choose out of Toomer, Royal, Roddy White, and Housh, what three would you start this week?

Start
Royal
White

Housh/Toomer - Dang,
*Considering defensive match ups I would say Toomer (unless they double him, which I doubt).
*Big player in a big game - Housh.

IMO

Schaub is my best QB right now.

I'm trading Peterson for Brees and Julius Jones now. Jones will benefit from the Seattle WRs coming back and Brees is having a great year.

So my starting RBs will be:
Chris Johnson
Julius Jones
or Edgerrin James

I'll most likely start all three with one as my flex.

Starting QB will be Brees over Schaub.

WRs Bowe, Housh, and Driver. TEs: LJ Smith and Scheffler

I'll be pretty happy with my team after this trade.
