quote:I haven't been keeping up with the injury situation in Philly. Is McNabb healthy? Is Westbrook out? I like McNabb with Westbrook out. On the other hand, Eli sans Plax doesn't worry me. He still has the reliable Toomer and Hixson is fine and don't forget the other Steve Smith (who I dropped after week 1). IMO, you can't go wrong with either of these guys.
Mcnabb at home versus Washington
Eli Manning at home versus Seattle.

quote:I hope this is a question for your back up QB. If so, when does your starter have a bye? If it's late, you might want Campbell because Anderson may be holding a clip board for Quinn before too long. Also, look at who each team plays on your main QB's bye week.
Campbell is a FA and Anderson sucks.. should I drop him to pick up Campbell?

Need opinions: Manning or Rivers this week?

Which Manning?

quote:My question, too. I have Rivers and I'm starting him without hesitation. I like Peyton to have a big week this week. Eli will be fine, but I think Rivers is gonna keep rolling. So my list would be Peyton, Rivers, Eli. However, if Peyton continues as he started, I think I'd start scouting for next year if he was my No. 1 pick.

Same here, although for some reason I think Eli is going to have a good game. I also think Peyton is primed to light someone up. Then again, the numbers speak for themselves for Rivers. Hell, It is a nice problem to have this week.
These might be 3 of my top 5 (Cutler & Brees)in the league that I would probably start this week.

would you start mewelde mooore (vs jax) and i'm thinking davenport may get goal-line carries, over welker playing against san fran and the hoodie has had a week to gameplan ... ??? any thoughts to guess what kind of stats rudi will have these week for the lions, will he have like 60yds? or like 90yds and a td?

Just managed to get Peyton in a trade for TJ Housh and Felix Jones. What a steal! This is a big $ pay league btw

Now it's my turn to ask for advice. I'm struggling with which WRs to start. I just found out that Colston is questionable, but I'm still not going to start him. Here are my other options. Need to start three.
Lee Evans @ ARI
Anthony Gonzalez @ HOU
Wes Welker @ SF
Eddie Royal v. TB (showers predicted)
Vincent Jackson @ Miami (showers predicted)
Jerry Porter v. PIT
I'm leaning toward Evans and Welker. Unsure between Royal, Jackson and Gonzalez for the third spot. Porter is not an option and as I said, I'm giving Colston a week at least.

If I am understanding correctly, you are asking if you should start M Moore or Welker (flex)? If so, I would go with Moore simply due to the fact that I rarely use WR's as a flex (3rd or 4th) since RB's are usually guaranteed points whereas with a WR it is an all or none thing. Granted, when they (WR) "hit" it is usually a good one but I find that playing the percentages usually works in the long run. Just my two cents.
As far as Rudi, I know that I read that he will be starting for Smith, but that's about all I know so far. FWIW, I did drop Buckhalter for him.

This is from CBSSportsline re: Westbrook
If Buckhalter is available pick him up ASAP.
quote:
The Washington Post reports that the brother of Brian Westbrook doesn't expect the Eagles RB to play in Week 5 vs. Washington. "I don't think he'll play," Redskins DB Byron Westbrook said. "The ankle injury is more serious than what the Eagles put out. You know how Andy Reid is about injuries."
(Updated 10/01/2008).
If Buckhalter is available pick him up ASAP.

I would say Evans and Welker for sure.
I would probably go with Gonzalez as my third
