Scott Haynie? Isn't he an older gentleman?
yep

It seems as though he wins these quite often. That's bizarre for an older guy to beat all the younger players. What gives?

Not really.

I don't know the dynamics of this tournament but I would assume most are under the age of 30...no?

the guy played 4 holes and left
So wouldn't that be 10&8?
And who quits in match play after 4-holes?

The BREC tournaments are a bit of an anonomly. Usually older individuals competing. The younger guys are in LGA and regional events mostly. I really need to play better tournament golf.

I find it funny that it looks like snatchola played himself in the 2nd round.

I wish there were tournaments like BREC around here. Gonna try and play an MGA event sometime next year for the hell of it.
Maybe I'll make a trip down for the BR Open.

Finally got around to uploading some pictures from Spain. These are from Las Colinas Golf Club in Alicante, Spain. It's a Top 50 course in Europe. It was extremely nice and the country club and staff were first class. The course was hard but fair, could have been in better shape, but unusual drought conditions in the area had it a little more dried out then normal.
