Quota game today. My rolling quota is now 37. Gonna have to play well because +4-5 normally cashes.

That's all I can do right now, something popped in my wrist when I hit a root last weekend.

For sure.

It'd be fun to look through them all, but shite that would be a lot of man hours and labor.

Moving them alone would be a nightmare.

Sup kids?

If any of you guys like reading golf books (not instructional) check out "paper tiger". It is about this journalist who lives and breathes golf for a certian amount of time trying to become a pro. I just finished it for the second time.

It's on my shelf. I haven't read it since I was a hack. I'd probably appreciate it more as a semi-hack.

I also go "Are You Kidding Me?" - Rocco Mediates book about the 2008 US Open and his career, and finally, "The Greatest Game Ever Played" about Francis Ouimet at the 1913 US Open. I know Ryno has read it, but everyone should give it a read. It's a great book about the game of golf and that tournament.

This is my go-to golfing fun fact. The first official tee shot at the CC of Brookline was on a par 4. The man teeing off drilled one right into the hole for an ace. No one seemed to impressed because after all, that was the point of golf. To get it in the hole. The man never had another ace in his life.

Yeah. I re-read books often. Cheaper that way.

looks like the callaway MD is the hot item right now

Yeah, I had a hard time finding mine. Went most everywhere and nobody had it in stock. Ended up finding one in the pro shop at Atchafalaya for 120.00.

How do identically lofted wedges produce different ball flight? Educate me. Ball position and angle of attack should determine that IMO. Lower ball flight, play it back one ball. Higher ball flight, play it more to the center.

Yeah, you kinda want him to succeed but he keeps chopping.

You're trusting that the lofts are identical. A lot of clubs aren't what they claim to be. This is especially true in drivers.

Weighting of the club head will cause launch angle to change.

Thankfully its been pretty dry around here so should soak it up pretty quick.

You going to be up at the bluffs this weekend, if the rain doesn't materialize as forecast?
