Not me. I'm only getting stronger, better, faster, etc.

what does everybody typically shoot?

I'm mid to low 80's. I'll scratch out an 80 every now and then.

Have never broken 80 but have come extremely close many of times

Splain your score to me thru 7. How can you be even with no pars and no birdies?

I've broken 80 twice this summer.

Playing to an 8.6 handicap (trending at 8.3). My average this summer have been right around 84 or so.

Shot my worst round in a while with a 92 at Craft Farms on Saturday.

So my range is 78 to 92, with typical rounds being 81-86. Looking to make that jump to a consistent 70's player.

I was trying to figure it out, but can't.

Unless he had three eagles.

Its probably the hardest thing to do in golf. Its the hardest hump to get over.

Its just a couple of short game screw ups that keep me out of the promised land.

It's been tough. I did it twice last year, but I feel like they were kinda fluky.

My first one came this year on a 6970 yard course rated 73.0/131.

Followed it up a few days later with my first even 9 and another 70's round at MSU.

didn't you just start playing?

That's incredible that you have already broken 80.

I started playing in summer of 2009. Played for about a year and a half just as a hack who loved to play. I tried to get better but probably never shot a legit round under 95. Took about a 2 year break from playing regularly (played a few times a year with friends).

When I moved to Starkville for graduate school, I bought a membership first day I got there and started playing...a lot. I really focused on getting better. I made a huge jump last spring/summer. Mid-high 90's player to a mid-high 80's player.

Played with two scratch golfers and about a 9 handicap player nearly every day last summer, which really helped me get better. Ton of help on here last year too when I would post my swing almost weekly.
