Just saw craziest thing ever. Had 122 in on 9. Uphill can't see green. Other guy hits his what looks close. Have a couple people by green clapping. I hot my right at pin. U see then go. Wow. We go up. Mine hit his which was 2 feet away and his shoots over green mine shoots 20 yards right. Made par tho. Ugh.

not the craziest thing ever

last year at the plainsman tournament, iheart hits his approach shot on #4 on the green

i proceed to hit my shot and hit it pretty thin but dead at the stick

it hits the pin and ricochets hard left and then hits iheart's ball on the green, knocking his ball off the green and mine rolls to the fringe

hitting the pin and someone else's ball in one shot is once in a lifetime

You're gonna like ET. With bushwood possibly going belly up, joining there seems like a good idea. Then, we can hang with Stash and 19th and hit on the milfs that go to the pool. Wasted of course.

Nah, be honest. You left because those greens were lookin like the Sahara Desert, and baby needed new shoes.

First time swinging a club in about 4 years, pretty stoked to be back at it. Had to come up to my parents at the bluffs to hit balls and practice.
Played 7 yesterday with the old man from the blues, hit a PW 135 to about 6 ft and leave the birdie putt short. We had a blast.

I talked to someone there Friday who said they have to put it up for sale every 2 or 3 years due to it being owned by the Firefighter's retirement fund (or whatever). They set a really high price and figure it won't sell but if it does, the fund makes a big profit. I didn't realize that they also own a course in Austin, Tx. They just did a Ryder Cup type event against the other club recently.

That's good to know.
It's gettin' nuked Sunday anyway. Not sure they'll have much to sell after we're done drinkin' and partyin' all over those links. It's gonna be out of control.

Certainly can't hurt the clubhouse. Just don't nuke the nice woodcarvings.

Heading out to Sand Creek Station which just finished hosting the US Amateur Pub Links this weekend. Gonna play from the tips and see what those guys had to play through.

I feel like I should practice for the SmashBash Sunday, but what's the point. Apes are grooved and flush. Driver is smokin. Putts are rollin.

I could work on some tee or cig flicks maybe.

It will be fun until I hit the first ball in the gunch and my day goes to shite. It's rained here so much this summer if you hit your ball 1ft deep in the native grass there is no chance you find it.

I smashed on Saturday. Smashed a ball into a maintenance shed.

#10 was a 275 hard hard dogleg left. Thinking I could some how make my driver travel 175 yards and take a left hand turn towards the green, I pull out the F11 and whollop one.....straight through the trees into the metal maintenance shop about 270 yards away. Beautiful freaking draw, and would have rolled for days. I just picked the completely wrong hole to hit it like that.

Go out and play a 9 hole round about Wednesday to stay sharp. Ice bath after.
