the tailgate has been the same since 2009
its actually my least favorite thing about the exterior of the current model

TM definitely redesigns too much, but what most people don't realize is that they have 3 or 4 "series" that they are constantly updating
i know most of us here realize that, but i'm not sure regular folk do
the R series is roughly on a 2 year cycle, even though they usually have a mild update in the interim
