erhmagaddd...Echelon Club in Alpharetta is the toughest course I've ever played. 7,100 from the tips (with the ability to have tournament tees at 7,500+) with a 74.9/150 rating/slope. Bentgrass greens were at least a 10.

Missed the carry on #11 and #18 because it required 260+ into the wind. Easily the best 87 I've shot.

That is a possibility. Be prepared for frustration

I'm in. I won't even bring a driver until we go play L'Augusta with threeputt and Double D.

All the bunkers I hit yesterday prepared me well for the 2 I hit today. Both were within 3 feet.

You only need driver for like 3 holes there, all par 5 's

ETA: have you been there yet?

We should do it. I'm ready to relax after a round for once in 2 months,

Not the course. Went to a party in that hood two weeks ago for a coworker of hers.

I saw a few holes. It is narrow. But I'm good with that.

I'll walk 9 early Sat. AM before it gets really hot.

You'll be so annoyed after leaving you won't be able to relax.

Haha, good luck. I can't wait until you see the size of the greens

There are 2 par 5's that I could effectively leave you nowhere to hit the green if I were to park my wife's explorer on them

I think the Spanish word for it is el terrible . Sometimes they are ok. It really is hit or miss. When I worked there we had t about as good as we could get it, but it has lost some of its luster

It's fun to play as a change of pace, but if I'm not at LaTour or Ellendale I'll usually go to Sugarland. 18 holes, back 9 is actually really fun ( at least I think so) and its the same price. Bayou used to have a leg up on conditioning, but it's probably even now

I played there last April the Sunday before Masters week on my way to Augusta. The pro told us the greens were about a 12 that day. Easily the fastest I've ever putted. The elevation changes got me. The downhill holes are really fun, but the uphill holes suck. I think I shot around 83-84, but I didn't play the tips. If there were drives you couldn't carry into the fairway, sounds like you shouldn't have been either.

Well, for a few buck we can walk 9 and get the itch out next weekend.

I'm just tired of driving for an hour after playing.

I hear you, I just know you're used to fancy arse country clubs

Trying to prepare you for what you're going to see. Think it pisses FIL off to see what it became

Hmmm, ok. Well, maybe we'll just wait.

I said I was done with golf for a while when I left the course, and here I am looking to play next weekend.
