ETA: I was down to La Cantera or the Quarry and picked Cantera because they played a PGA event there at the time

Different clubhouses
The clubhouse for the resort course is at the resort I assume
The Palmer course is completely separate and quite a ways from the resort

The Palmer is the harder of the two. Resort is very nice tho.

The guys I played with said that the Palmer is the toughest course in SA, but I would think TPC is tougher

Yea. Oaks at TPC is def the hardest.
Id say, TPC followed by Palmer and then the 3rd is pretty far down.

Then why did they have the Valero on the Resort course? Better setup for fans and such?
ETA because I remember it being very secluded and there was only a couple holes where you could even see another hole
