just more of a wood floor guy, and not the really dark color. Ideally if I could find older wood floors and refinish them

When I was in STL a few weeks ago one of the options they served for lunch was tuna. I said "I'll pass". When asked why I responded "I live on the coast, I'm not coming to the Midwest to eat seafood. Give me beef and a homely looking girl"

we have a yellow lab, so if we didn't vacuum everyday dark floor would look really dirty

Depends on the surface. Low spinner on a green that's hard as a rock still won't hold. Gotta come in high. Coming in high if little to no green to work with.

Center pin, low spinner.

I personally think the lower shot is easier to hit. Off a really tight lie lower might be the only shot.
