looked at two demo vokey wedges today and one is 50* w/12* bounce he said he could bend to 51 or maybe 52. The other is 52* w/ 8* degree bounce. Either one he will sell me for $35.

What degree bounce should I look at for playing these hard fairways around here?

Hit them both and decide, depends if you pick it or take big divots. I have 54S in the SM5 and my HG 58 is a M with a pro channel sole into it a hair, so the bounce changes depending on face angle at impact and what type of shot I wanna hit. The typical M can dig on ya I find, I don't take big divots.

As a general rule if you play on a course with a hard grass and firm sand, you should be using wedges with less bounce. The lower amount of bounce will help the clubs leading edge dig down easier into the turf and through the rest of the shot.

Last year I was throwing darts with them. Now I fly everything. Haven't hit a good unnecessary flop shot in months
