I like courses that offer a change of pace from the same hole types you see all the time
I agree with the other guy that says it becomes more fun when you know how to play it

I do too, I love different types of courses. Greystone was not a fun, different course. It was just a weird course. I played it when it first opened though, might be a little better now.

Now a question about ordering shafts for anyone who might know the answer...I want to put new shafts in my 54 and 58 degree wedges (same shafts that are in my irons). The standard lengths are 35.25" and 35.00". When I'm on golfsmith's website, I have the option of ordering anywhere from 36.5 to 40.5 inch long shafts. I want the length to be 0.25" longer than standard. My question is how much of the tip is typically affixed into the hosel when it's installed? How much longer than the length of the club I need do I need the shaft to be?

Just go with 37.5" and trim the butt to desired length

I think the hosel depth is an inch or inch and a half

Could I get a 38.5" and do the same thing? Or does cutting the butt on the longer shaft change the shaft properties? I ask because the website seems to be out of 37.5".

It will change it but not much...you need a stiffer shaft in your wedges anyway.
