Kawhi was 4 for 21 on the second half of games 6 and 7. Team gave up big leads both times. Kawhi was horrible when his team was fading and needed him to make some plays for them to win.

No doubt. Both choked like fricking crazy but there should have never been a game 6

Yup. Blowing the lead like that, that deep into the playoffs falls on everyone's shoulders.

PG should take on a lot of that blame, but he isn't necessarily wrong with what he is saying .
That's my issue. We ALL know everyone was to blame for that collapse. A man should take the blame themselves, regardless. "I could've done this and this better." "I could have played tougher defense." etc etc etc.
The fact he's passing the buck says a lot about him as a person and as a player.

Yeah not going to get his 3rd Finals MVP playing like that. He’s been clutch throughout his career. What a shame.

Paul George's previous career high on pick and roll possessions was 25%. In his 1 season with Doc and the Clippers, it was a career high 33%. He had more P&Rs than he ever had his career
It’s amazing that we can look this kinda of stat up now.

Like George, Morris said the Clippers did not make enough adjustments in the playoffs, which cost them.
“I don’t think we spent enough time breaking down exactly what we needed to fix, and more of just relying on talent and...sometimes we were relying on how good we were on paper,” he said.

Doc Rivers is like any other NBA head coach. If he has the talent, he can win some games. He’s not a good difference maker.
His Boston teams sucked until the Celtics acquired Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to combo with Paul Pierce. And they won one title because they had the best trio at that time. And all of a sudden, Rivers was a genius. When those guys left, he wanted out because he knew he couldn’t win with what was left. With the Clippers, he didn’t have talent that was a clear cut above everyone else so they didn’t win it all.
There is Popovich and that’s about it for your difference makers as head coaches. And the Spurs have faded now that they don’t have elite talent. The NBA is a players league. The coaches are merely window dressing.

That’s a common opinion from naive, casual fans.
Coaching is absolutely important. Talent drives the bus, of course, but to suggest that all coaches are the same and it only boils down to talent is ridiculous.

Yeah you swap Nurse for Doc or Spo for Bud and you'll get very different results.

He’s absolutely correct he just forgot to mention Rick Carlisle.

I mean hes not really wrong. He definitely choked
He is FUNDAMENTALLY wrong.
Advanced analytics say that Doc Rivers used him EXACTLY the way he said he wanted to be used.
PG is a fricking loser.
