Now they are covering MLK assassination. This whole story has just been homogenized into a bunch of liberal nonsense

Are you actually saying the assassination of MLK is liberal nonsense?

I'm as conservative as a normal person comes and I'd even have to say you're reaching with that

Boston has a history of being one of the most racist cities in America. Yet, they always vote democat. SMH.

Well it is the Democrat party that introduced and fought for slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, killed MLK etc. Now today's Democrat voters are flat out telling you we need Mexicans to do our dirty work. Nothing has changed.

When I voted Democrat for nearly 15 years, I too hated when someone presented the correct history of my party to me.

Keep up the good work!

All I'm saying is a doc on the history of Celtics basketball should not cover the civil rights movement. Also the Acolyte was a decent show.

Crazy how Southern Democrats like Strom Thurmond moved to the Republican Party around the time the Democrats moved left and Republicans were employing the Southern strategy. Funny how ignorant some of y'all are about history--in the case of OP, he'd rather cover his ears and say lalalalalala and pretend it never happened.

It’s the bigger issue. Boston, racism, Russell’s activism, and winning.

I played Pee Wee football here in West Seattle with a kid whose dad was Jack Nichols, Bill Russell’s room mate with the Celtics in 1957. It was the first time a black and white player roomed together in the NBA.

Russell lived for many years in upscale Mercer Island, near Seattle. He had a reputation for being rude, especially to waiters. Very demanding. To his credit, he became a veteran’s advocate back in the Vietnam era.
