If you frickers actually read my posts you'd know I've acknowledged that strength and conditioning is better. It has to be. That's what happens over time.

It's the people acting like it didn't exist 16 years ago that's laughable. Acting like it wasn't already pretty fricking advanced 16 years ago is stupid. I mean, shite, all you have to do is look at the players in the '90s vs. today. Not much different. Whereas there was a big difference between the '80s and '90s.

Seriously, it's like you've never seen a second of a game from 1999. Do you really think Rickey Jackson was sipping Cherry Coke on the sidelines for energy? This is why I can't take you kids seriously being the super old 29 year old that I am.

Then I would i agree with you. But simply put, todays basketball is better. So when that simple statement is made why does it seem to make you angry if you agree?

Because you guys seem to accompany those statements with silly anecdotes more in line with something you'd hear about the game 50 years ago.

You are showing individual people from the 90s to show the were just as in shape as people today. So i am showing people from the 1950s to prove the same thing. it is literally the exact same thing you are doing

here is one from the 60s. Proof the 60s were just as big and strong

Look, if any idiot says there wasnt any players from any era that were as strong as today they are idiots. But anyone who picks pictures of individuals to show that as a whole they were as strong is also an idiot

Because 16 years ago = 50 years ago

What I've learned from this thread: NBA players 30 years ago in 1997 lived off Coke and Mrs. Bairds and never touched a weight.

Not one person has said that. Serious question, are you a woman? Cause you argue exactly like one. You make up fake over the top things to argue against that wasnt actually said Did people lift weights and have nutrition in the 90s? yes As a whole was it close to as good as today? no

Have you tried watching some YouTube videos? NBA games were actually televised way back then in color and all. There was even primitive recording technology.

1) You obviously haven't read this thread.

Show me one post where me or anyone said they lived on coke and lifted no weights?

Also to your only point, I have actually posted a link to a full NBA game. I am one of the only people to have done that. Me and my friends one time went on a binge watching old NBA series. It was awesome watching MJ, but the product wasnt even close to todays overall in terms of ball movement and team defense. And when we watched Bird vs Magic games, we almost laughed ourselves to death on how much standing around there was

From what i remember it was about pure athleticism and strength on defense for most people. Anyone who says he is better overall at basketball should be shot in the face
