Wow man thanks for posting. Didn't even know that. Small world we live in. Warrick has done some good throughout his career and continues to do so after.

Individuals like Dunn have a greater positive influence on the world than any of the self-serving politicians we elect to alleviate problems like poverty and homelessness.

Thank you for making the world a better place, Warrick.

I know Warrick isn't doing this for attention but the man deserves it.

And this is the difference in someone like Kaepernick, who is simply selling lip service and someone like Dunn who has actively worked to make a difference in the lives of his community (and beyond).

I'm pretty sure he won the Walter Payton Man of the Year a few years back for his housing program. It's a pretty cool program, partnered with Habitat for Humanity, that doesn't just hand them the houses. It requires them to physically help build the house/participate in it's construction as well as I believe attend courses that addresses education, nutrition, etc. And has done it all in the memory of his Mom, who raised him as a single-parent and always wanted to buy her own home.

He also had a program called Betty's Hope that provided grief counseling to children in need in Baton Rouge.

I've donated a couple of times to WDC and it's a great program.
