re: Vrabel Files - part 56 - on a boat with pregnant Russini

Here is the thing guys, we have to remember, if you fire every coach that had a decade long affair with a married woman and fricked her and ran around with her while pregnant, possibly even pregnant with your bastard children, we wouldn’t have anyone left to coach
The difference is those guys weren't sloppy enough to get caught...Vrabel is truly a meathead dumbass.

It would only be a distraction if Russini was still working,
That would be a different kind of distraction for sure. But this has already been a distraction since she resigned/got fired. It’s a TMZ gossip story about 2 well known people having a years long affair and possibly a man raising another man’s child. We’re past the conflict of interest part. It’s 2 “celebrities;” their jobs no longer matter except that that’s how they became “famous.”

With her no longer covering the NFL, this is just run of the mill infidelity
There’s probably hundreds of affairs going on at any given time in the NFL circles that never get mentioned. This is not just “run of the mill.” The conflict of interest played a part, but this would still be a story if Vrabel were having an affair with someone of similar notoriety as Russinni who was in a completely different field. Like a B/C list actress. Or some chick from Fox News or something. The biggest reason is because of the video/photo documentation that keeps getting leaked every week or 2. If it was run of the mill, we wouldn’t have an 8 page thread on the 4th or 5th new “drop.” For the whatever reason, people are still interested. I think the baby being named “Michael” and that insane tweet of hers asking about best NFL “Mikes” and the suspicion that it may be Vrabel’s kid has blown it up and/or kept it going.
Matt Flynn this morning said he thought if things keep dropping out like this, it would become a distraction that could cost him his job. I don’t know if I agree, but he’s been in a ton of NFL locker rooms. He said it’s important for the players to respect the coach, and you’ve got a bunch of grown men in the building—players and coaches—who have families and kids that will lose respect for Vrabel as a man and, subsequently, as a coach.
He talked about how there were other dynamics, like coaches and players wives all socializing together and how that might affect Vrabel’s wife moving forward, that we don’t understand fully, and that it could get to a point where he has to resign. I think that was with the caveat that more information continues to trickle out. I’m not making that argument, just saying it’s not as clear cut and “no big deal, just “run of the mill” infidelity as you’re suggesting.

Every NFL coaches wife is probably go through his shite right now.

TMZ now saying the kid is named after her brother, who is also named Michael. I've said earlier, it's just an Italian Jersey thing. Michael, Anthony, Christopher, or Joseph is a high probability.

I can't imagine anyone in the team facilities who would have one ounce of respect for Vrabel after all that has come out and surely there is more to come.

Maybe the players but I would imagine a bunch of regular people that work there would.

NFL front offices and locker rooms accept with open arms guys with heinous domestic violence charges and other criminal charges, but cheating on your wife is a bridge too far? Cmon yall

Yeah, you're right and Matt Flynn is wrong. I kid but the details coming out are absolutely salacious and the mark of two sociopaths. Saw an NFL agent buddy last Friday (Eric Metz) and asked him about Vrabel and his response "oh, he's fricked".

Players aren't management.
And I'm not saying staffers will sit out until he's fired but there's going to be a lot of talking about him behind his back. Especially since these stories are gonna keep coming. He's the office gossip now.

It’s all ball once training camp kicks off. It’ll be a funny footnote in his wiki at the end of the day

So Vrabel over the years preaching how important off the field stuff is to limit distractions was all just funny tickle time nonsense? Distractions really don’t matter?

In this particular instance, no it really doesn’t matter

The only way these constant leaks stop is for Vrabel to actually man up and own this. But he clearly doesn’t want to do that
A public statement of “I have stepped out on my wife for 7 years. I’m an a-hole. The kids are mine and I’ll do everything I can form this point forward to be a dad to them and a better man etc etc”. And it’s over. Leaks have no power at this point
But he has been a giant chicken shite pussy about this whole thing so this will continue to leak and drag his family through it constantly because he is a self centered monster

Sounds like the kind of guy that’s never been told no. Titans firing him might have been the first time.
Posted on 5/7/26 at 6:38 pm to glassman
After he made the Super Bowl year one, so many were ready to clown on the Titans for having the audacity to fire him.
No doubt they knew what he was doing.

I think it’s silly to give the titans that much credit. They’ve fired like 3 GMs and 2 HCs since Vrabel left. They’re a mess and a half and absolutely would’ve leaked this if they knew about it given how ugly that got

Yes and with the Titans owner being female I'm sure it didn't go over very well in Nashville. The NFL is a 'good old boy" network and while most would just look the other way a female is less likely to.
