Of course he saw him. You hear him slam the throttle in the perfect position to sling mud on him. Tony got too close and killed the kid. Put him in jail.

Don't bring common sense to the argument. These idiots think one of the best drivers in the world is oblivious to all that was going on around him.

Just curious how people can say they hear him slam the throttle? If the video everyone is watching is the same I saw, its being taped from the front stretch (maybe entrance to turn 1), the incident occurs between 1 and 2. With other cars on the track how is it you know which car?

After following this thread all day and watching the video numerous times, I am in agreement with this.

How anyone could think TS isn't guilty is beyond me

There's probably no way to prove it and this guy was running around on a track so no lost sleep

The same people who saw him turn his car "uptrack" to run over they guy, you'll have to ask them. I guess his engine has a specific pitch.

Throwin your helmey and yalkingshit doesn't mean you get linked to being a murderer. Holy shite
Whenis last time hes even had an incident?since yes been ina car owner has he? But since 10 years ago hewas mean to a reporter hes a murderer.

Its scary the public thinks like that esp in cases where peoples lives hang in balance. Screw evidence..I know im right and frickthis guy

I don't think tony meant to hurt him. Anyone objective would agree.

I do however think he could have avoided getting that close to him.

What's crazy is you see plain as day ward attempt to jump out of the way at the last minute. It appears that Stewart veered a little more to the right at the last second to spook him or something and didn't realize just how close ward was.

Tragic event.

It's almost like you can't just be an a-hole. You have to be guilty of whatever you're accused of too no matter what evidence or the law states.

The good old court of public opinion.

The tone of many in this thread would change if it was Jeff Gordon I bet.

I don't think he did it on purpose, just that an attempt to buzz ward and maybe flip him the bird went wrong

Go home, you're drunk. Try just last year, fighting with Logano

Edit: official link with awesome Tony interview

Dumb little son of a bitch. ... He's the one that drives like a little ****. Imma bust his arse.

Cool, calm and collected, team owner Tony Stewart.
