Sigh, Shady you are a great player, but Eagles fans aren't forgetting your baby momma drama. Or when you punched out a woman on your party bus. Not the best person to be casting stones.

See below between Shady and his baby momma:

@angelface0330 I never look or speak to u .. Once u lied bout birth control ya life was created ... B 4 that u was a nobody dirty alley grl

Affirmative action

Being accused of being racist if you fire a black person or believe George Zimmerman is innocent.

Having to endure the media's pity party for blacks.

See Supreme court justice Sotomayor's comments about how white people are privileged.

My wife's a teacher and has to hear from her black and mexican students how easy she had it growing up because she was white and that she's just out to get them or she's racist when she fails them.

The little things.

I'd argue, it's easier for a black person to get into an Ivy league school than a white middle class person right now. They don't have to score near as high merely because of their race and they get more financial aid.

What can I say? Sorry history disagrees with you.

Was it not the blacks who sold their own people? Not saying it's an excuse, but it's what started it.

Ahh ok. But why cant people see that if you are mad at someone and you call them a name, it might be because you know it will piss them off, and not be because its what you feel.

What world do you live in where this justifies someone's behavior? Of course he was mad at someone, a complete stranger and said the worst possible word he could say based on society's standards. That doesn't excuse it, nor does him being intoxicated. Do you call your mom "a fricking count" when she hasn't folded your laundry for you, then explain to her that you were just angry when she is in tears?

quote:

The McCoy thing also brings up an important issue, similar to the whole Paula Dean issue. It isnt important to people anymore how people treat those around them on a daily basis. McCoy just admitted that Cooper was one of his best friends on the team. So that close bond you shared and the conversations you had and the way you saw your friend carry himself on a daily basis doesnt matter? Those things dont speak to his character? Only the word he used while drunk and the implications YOU surmised about his character based on that action? Well then Lesean McCoy is a terrible fricking friend. What a lazy judge a character.

Who are you to tell Lesean McCoy how he or anyone else should: 1) feel about someone using an offensive word or 2) use as his criteria to evaluate friends. Outside of a basic statement, you have no idea how close they were. Nor do you have any idea how deep their bond or conversations were. Or that he didn't take those things into account.

I like how certain posters try to bend over backwards to defend Cooper. Yes, its Lesean McCoy's fault that he was offended by the most offensive word in our society being said in anger toward another African American. It isn't Cooper's fault because he was intoxicated but Lesean McCoy is the guy who needs to get over it.

This is how you know our society has gone full retard and has raised a generation of pussies full of white guilt and white hatred:

LEsean mccoy doesn't wanna pay child support. People respond: Leave the man be. Who cares?

Riley cooper says n word.
People respond: KILL HIM

Dusty Baker says whites not as good as blacks in the sun
People respond: meh. Who cares?

I mean, just imagine if a football coach (say Steve Spurrier who has never had a black qb) said that he likes white QBs because they hold up under critical thinking better. He wouldn't be a coach anymore. he would be fricking villainized. But, what about villainizing EVERYONE who is racist?

Paula Deen used N word over 20 years ago.
People respond: KILL THAT BITCH!

Pretty much every race issue brought up on this site is like this.

It's pathetic.

Only you, Rush and Sean feel the need to kiss every black person in the world's arse, hence the willful ignorance and insensitivity to the history of black oppression. We get it, no need to pretend.

Human suffering is human suffering, but to dismiss some 246 years of slavery and an additional 100 years of Jim Crow to claim a segment of white folk suffered more than blacks is just willful ignorance. Then to pretend that after all of that, there really is a leveled playing field is simply stupid.

I didnt say it was justified. I said it didnt make him a racist.

Im not telling him how he should feel. Im judging his loyalty to *HIS so called close friend" based on his fickle feelings.

No, i also dont use the n-word. My actions are not an issue here. But if someone, while in a fight with a women called here a bitch, i wouldnt assume they were sexist. Especially if they worked respectfully along side women everyday

Probably fair, but this is the only site I read where constant commenting is involved.

How the frick am I dismissing it? I'm not dismissing it at all. Just saying it happened, let's move on. There's nothing I can fricking do about it as I've had nothing to do with it.

I believe the field is leveled now. How does a black person not have opportunity now? They have college and job opportunities, just as whites. The "woe is me" attitude is holding them back just like you and jesse and al.

My ancestors didn't do shite. Besides, who the frick cares at this point? Does this affect black people's lives daily that this happened about 150 years+ ago?

What can we do about it now. It happened, my ancestors weren't there, I didn't do shite, you weren't there, your momma wasn't there, so let's move the frick on.

so should black people breed hate for whites because of what some people's ancestors did over a century and a half ago?

Not saying it's right, but the alternative is they could be at constant war in their home continent.

Just saying, it's time to move on. Nobody alive had anything to do with it.

it's fricked up, but it's not like they're the only oppressed people in the history of the world.

Can't move on when it wasn't adequately addressed. But, I think you know that and it's what fuels the bitter hostility to all things black for you. Don't worry, JJ, Al and people like me won't let white folks like you just pretend it didn't matter and we're all even Steven.

No. No one should breed hate.

But white people need to quit acting like it's all over and today is nothing but endless parades for black folks.

We have a black president for christ sakes. I'd say the playing field is even.
