there's 480! 5 pages before i hear from my boy. thanks, man

by the way, AD, the speed training has worked wonders for his baseball skills...really. improved his overall athleticism: batting, pitching and running the bases. really improved his core-strength over the past several months.

Different kids will develop at different ages so the bumpees will change year to year. Regardless, here is an interesting fact. Lot of the top teams have lots of kids born in May, June or July. Just curious if your son has birthday in one of those months.

The Louisiana Tigers won the 14u Elite 32 at Disney last year and I hear their 13's are loaded this year.

our best player, i think the best in our age group, is a July birthday.

my boy is the youngest on the team as a december birthday. he's pretty tall because of my 6'-6" and 6'-7" brothers-in-law. he's the tallest kid on the team despite his late birthday.

Interesting that no birthdays in January, Feb., March, or April. USSSA cutoff date is May 1st. There are always exceptions and not completely ground breaking but the age angle is still interesting to me. I know a USSSA director and he says most of the Elite 32 teams are filled with birthdays in months right after May 1st.

Did they combine with someone else or add some more kids? Asking about the 13 year olds.

Just looked them up and they have 10 new players this year. You might as well call them the Hawks. Seems like the Hawks added a few and are going under Louisiana Tigers. Not putting anyone down, just an observation.

Yeah my nephew's birthday is late January, almost February. He's a year behind everyone in school on the team except one other kid.

One of the Hawk players is no longer on team, leaves 3 Hawk and 5 former Tigers, Saw them in fall, could have beat Bandito's of Nola.

USSSA baseball rankings out [IM thread on select baseball]
I would have killed to play baseball year round as a kid. It simply wasn't as developed as it is now. After our playground season ended we had to vigorously search for tournaments to play in. Now they are everywhere.

If your brother thinks it too much, tell him to quit

Bingo mine was ready as soon as hunting season ended

Only 2 from hawk
2 from legends/ sub zero
And a couple others form various teams

Prospects are still pretty stout. So is your nephews team

I was just looking at their UTrip roster as far as my numbers. Prospects are very good. It was a close game Sunday and we threw our ace. Just had a bad game in the championship against the team from Memphis. 4 unearned runs was too much to overcome. They were legit though, former West TN Wildcats.
