And they say SEC officials are bad. The guy catches the ball out of bounds. He doesn't have possession until he is off the paint. The official is sitting right there, thinks about it for a second, and then says ,"Touchdown."

WOW!

James and Oregon had done that a little too much in crucial scoring chances this year.

No, SEC refs are crooks.

PAC 12 refs are just clueless.

I was in Autzen for that infamous Oklahoma onside kick game.

There still will never be a call that comes close to that one. The worst in history.

No one had any idea about the controversy inside the stadium...they showed no replay.

It wasn't until later that night on TV when we realized it was a robbery.

I was there too. It was bad. OH well

eta...if I remember right OU was playing UAB and were in a fight for their lives and fumbled a kickoff in the fourth and lost it but the refs gave them the ball. May have been the same season the week or so before

Didn't the Big XII officials give Texas an extra second to win the conference a few years back over Nebraska?

I didn't think that was bad. The ball hit the ground with 1 second left. I thought it was the correct call

That's adding a second that could go either way.

Not only did Oregon touch ball before it went 10 yards.

Not only did Oregon never fall on the ball with possession.

Not only did Oregon never come out of the pile with the ball - OU did.

They reviewed all of it upstairs! And gave the ball to Oregon.

Still, Oklahoma could've won on a last second field goal. AD was a beast that day.

I would agree with you, but we have seen this same scenario play out multiple times in the years following that game. Each time the officials allowed that final second to run off the clock.
