Well FWIW we do get an opportunity this weekend against Honduras in Chicago. Then in 12 days we begin the Confederations Cup with a match against Italy in South Africa. It will be a big couple of months for US Soccer. Hopefully we can put this behind us.

anyone..I can't stand Bradley....he fricking is a momentum killer on a run and is a yellow card machine. If his dad wasn't the coach I doubt he be there all thetime

Well at least we have a +2 aggregate instead of +1 which was the case before that penalty.

no it isnt. when is the last time we won a game against a european club? we expend our entire effort on beating the likes of costa rica, TnT, honduras, ecuador, and mexico.
thats not exactly world class competition we are squaring off against. i think part of the reason we play so poorly against some of these teams is that we have no idea what world class competition is

We took Germany and Italy close back in 02 and 06 respectively. we also beat Portugal in 02. We're not terrible against some of the CONMEBOL or Asian teams either.
