I can understand it is hard to move the ball around on this crap, but can we stop with the long ball up top to Jozy?

Yes, I agree with all of ths. I just hope the first 20 minutes aren't a preview of the other 70.
Same. I have the Argentina-Bolivia game running through my head right now.

Alot of teams look like shite on the road, welcome to international soccer. And yeah, it does look pretty bad but the good thing is there is still a ton of time.

dude this isn't my first go around w/ soccer. I watch it a good bit. I know international soccer..I know it's tough to play on the road..hell Arg.got blew out somewhat recently on the road that was a head turner...

but still....the El Salvadore game..now this...they may turn the night around but we have GOT GOT GOT to stop falling behind early.

well our weakness in the backfield has certainly been exposed. i'm just hoping we can get more runs like the one we just saw. i would expect a complete turnaround this weekend vs Honduras.

I didn't mean to insinuate that. I've seen you post in soccer threads before. It was more of a figure of speech.

Not trying to make excuses, but who really thought we'd win? We said a point would be fantastic, and a win would be amazing. I know it sucks that we're not just losing we're getting railed, but it's still just one loss.

USA is hurting with defensive personnel and they opt to go with a more attack oriented formation. Not very smart at all.

i couldnt agree more with this

i was questioning having three attacking players on the pitch on the road

Starting to play much better. I still think the 4-3-3 sucks. As someone who has played a lot of soccer (especially defender), I see no benefit from that formation. It is extremely difficult to defend with only 3 mids. Costa Rica is able to roar down the field.
