Rewatch it several times. Looks like that fall was on Mu. She cut in too closely.

'28 is gonna feel very weird. Not just swimming and track switching weeks but the fact that swimming it's going to be in SoFi is the ultimate money grab. Indy pulled it off for Trials but I just don't see them approaching an Olympic feel in that stadium. Also with the capacity it has, putting "Athletics" in front of 100k at SoFi would make so much more sense than swimming in front of less than half of that.

@ 45second mark, slow it to .25 speed.

Mu left foot kicked her right calf then she collapsed. So her own doing.

Assuming she qualifies, I think Elle St Pierre will only do the 1500 at the Olympics. I think the Olympics 5K will be one night, and 1500m will be the next afternoon or maybe the other way around. That will leave a spot for Parker Valby to go in the 5K. PV still has the 10K to qualify.

I also think that 16yr old kid Quincy Wilson will get a spot on the relay 400m teams. Perhaps edging out Matt Boling.

Coleman will be on the 100m relay team also.

She ran injured last yr. Had surgery and I don't think shes 100% peak form, but shes there. 200m is Thursday. She did run the first 100m heat and advanced but didn't run.

I’m sure it’ll probably depend on what she feels she has the best chance of medaling in once everyone gets a feel for entries. She ran a really freaking good 5k

Steiner has more potential at 400 than 200 imo. There's no reason she should be running the 100 at all this point other than to work on starts.

I tend to agree. I thought the same when she was at Kentucky. Seemed more like a 2/4 runner than a 1/2

I hate that they decided to put this debate on counter programming the Trials. I'll be trying to catch up tomorrow.

I’ve not been able to watch anything tonight sadly. Went for a workout and my kid conveniently got sick as I walked in. Just turned it on thankfully I didn’t miss this steeple
