I agree with you that Phil should have gone for it, but he needs to do whatever he feels most comfortable with.

I like that Brando and Brooks don't feel the need to run their mouths about what they saw somebody do once, somewhere, when they were playing golf.

Sometimes it's better to just be quiet and let the golf be the star of the show. And the course.
