Isner unleashed on that forehand.

Tie-break time.

Double fault was a killer. Hopefully he regroups.

Isner fought valiantly, but Murray's too much for him. Roddick is now our only hope

damn, bummer way to go. I feel like Isner kept trying those drop shots and failed every time, including the tie break.

I really wanted to see this go to a fifth set. I think he would have taken it.

Isner lost a TB
Murray 7-5 6-4 3-6 7-6(2) over Isner

Isner was resiliant, good match. Nadal/Roddick up next.

I'm pulling for Roddick, but I'm not sure. I hope he makes it a match.

About the other match, Isner has improved his game. He takes that 5th set if it had gotten there.

Rowdy Roddick will need to serve lights out if he's going to make a match of it.

Yep, and even though he isn't good at it, he needs to come to the net early and often. He will not win long points with Rafa.

One thing to keep in mind is that Muller served lights out against Nadal in the previous round, yet Nadal broke him easily especially in the final two sets.

Was that Monday? This weather shite has limited my interest/attention sadly. I love this tournament, and was off today so I am getting to watch it. Love that the Americans are playing today and I can watch it.

Roddick will never be relevant in tennis again. 09 Wimby was his last stand.

Nadal is gonna blast Roddick. Even with that big serve, AR doesn't place the ball all that well, not to mention no movement either. He has an overrated serve.

He's been figured out for a long time....
