This is just embarrassing. Isner played more yesterday against Simon but he still showed some heart out there.

Roddick is just getting dominated. He is showing some heart but just getting dominated.

yeah, he's showing heart, not giving up, he just doesn't have an answer for nadal.

Nadal is placing shots with precision and getting to everything roddick hits. I mean, it would be a miracle win anyway. Only 2 or 3 people are even capable of beating nadal.

Too bad the match isn't even enjoyable to watch.

Seems like Nadal has played himself into shape after looking terrible in the warm up tourneys and the early rounds. The match with Murray will hopefully be a good one. Hopefully Murray shows up after having a more physical match today.

The Novak/Fed winner should be the favorite in the final, but you never know given Fed's mental lapses these days

Their games usually suck
Looking forward to Djoko/Fed though, hoping for a classic.

I have a feeling this might play out similar to the French Open, in that Fed plays spoiler for Novak then loses the final to Nadal. He should beat Rafa on this surface, but I think he's too inconsistent at this point.

I think the fed/novak match will be the best of the tournament

On another note the American pair Sock/Oudin just won the mixed doubles championship.

definitely looks like he has more confidence to hit over it on that side, hitting his spots on the slider out wide pretty well too.

Im with you, he looks like retro Fed lately; maintaining the same level after beating Djokovic-Nadal is pretty mcuh what it comes down to...
same story different major, just gotta pull it off this time

he has a bad attitude, gotta get past that first. He can't beat any of these guys with groundstrokes, and being that he volleys like an Ape, slim chance of ever winning a Slam.

FIFY

Roddick needs to take a period of time off. He's not right in the mind for trying to compete in championships. He's got the skill set to be competitive, but once he gets down...he's done.

The thought of Roddick having ANY chance of winning another slam is nothing but ESPN propaganda spewing to get people to watch.

Roddick's chances are zero unless all of the Top 4 are already out of the tourney.

Some on here incredibly thought he had a chance versus Nadal which is laughable. Roddick does not have one shot in his bag that bothers the top-4, not one including his overrated serve.

He just happened to win years back when the great players were getting out (agassi, sampras), and the young guns (federer, nadal) were green.

when lleyton hewitt is/was a top player at the same time also, that should tell you something. He managed to fit in that tiny little window of not having great players around.

when i watch now, nothing he does stands out. if anything, he should have changed his game like Samprass and learn to serve/volley, or just come to the net much more.
