Why not let Joraanstad throw last rock and keep Pottinger third? They've both been fairly consistent.

Quite common in curling, though. There's an unspoken rule that you concede if you are down by a good bit with so many ends left to play. Basically keeps everyone from wasting their time.

But that guy just ripped/beamed the thing down there without any strategy. I have a feeling that guy will be alternate against Canada.
