Coach Davenport resigned as coach of UNO women's basketball. I would love to see her added as an assistant coach on Mulkey staff if any of her staff leave during the off-season if any of the current staff leaves in the off-season.
Would definitely help recruiting in the New Orleans area. She is well liked in the community being a long time coach and raised in Laplace.

Um Kim doesn’t need any additional help recruiting, especially this state which she plucked talent out left and right for years going back to her Baylor days…
Also Louisiana isn’t exactly a hot bed for wbb talent although they do go through cycles where they do pump out good prospects every so often
Focus should truly be in states like Texas and the Southeast (Ga, Al, MS, Florida) which she has assistants with lots of connections to already. Plus given Kim's resume, she's going to recruit nationally and be in the mix everywhere annually

Genuine question, does the NOLA area produce the type of talent we're recruiting nationally often enough to make this a necessity?

Do we really need her on staff? I'll let Kramer's mom answer this one, she knows what we need much more than me.

No she wouldn't.
If Kim Mulkey and Keeshawn Davenport walk into a room in the area, nobody gives a frick about Davenport. All eyes are on Mulkey because she's Kim Mulkey.

Will Wade shouldve waited just a few weeks longer. Timing!

How much of the NOLA talent ended up on the lakefront campus? I do believe the name, Kim Mulkey is more than enough to entice talent from everywhere in the country to Baton Rouge.

Nicholls Women’s coach stepped down too. Couple area openings.
