Well let me spell it out for you. UFC is about finishing fights. Ever heard Dana White talk? His most common phrase is don't leave it up to the judges. So, all that great boxing skill, with little KO power, is not the greatest weapon in a sport where you are trying to finish the fight. #1 the judges suck and #2 you run the risk of the other guy getting a finish or a takedown that drastically changes the fight.
Max is great, but in ufc it's better to be a finisher than a Floyd Mayweather style boxer.

Dana has been killing it. While other leagues are tripping over each other to be woke, Dana is going full steam ahead with a great product.
Really hoping they can get ultimate fighter booked up with Covington masvidal. That will breathe some life into the show.

Only one that seems to be scared is masvidal. Colby has publicly called for the fight and Dana has said that is the fight to make. There have been rumors that they would coach TUF then fight, but nothing booked yet.

Also this weekend was the debut boxing match of The Mountain (GOT) was 6'9" 450 + lbs, down to 345 or so and fought to a draw fri night

id be happy if they all took less than 5 minutes that means an exciting night of fights.
I payed much more than that to watch the saints superbowl.
