I don't think we get ilia vs Poirier.

I don't think.. I know we aren't getting this. Poirier is fighting Holloway, ESPN's twitter literally confirmed it.

he also got fricked up pretty good in that fight by a nobody.
Ate a head kick and came back to win by KO. Islam got fricked up by a nobody and lost.

yeah man those guys are scared to fight topuria.

You don't think it's possible for these guys to be nervous or unsure about fights? Like we all didn't just see Pereira clearly uncomfortable about fighting Ankalaev and then he laid an egg against him. Islam is the one who said whoever makes 155 and steps in there with him, he'll fight them. Well Topuria is 155 and he's talking insane trash to Islam. Did Islam mean what he said or not?

They literally didn’t but I agree it seems likely it will be Holloway probably for the “BMF”.

Poirier can finally go out with a “title”

Yes, it's in the works
Ronnie Rantz is part of the LA State Boxing & Wrestling Commission and both parties are looking to make it happen

Sounds like excuses from both Islam and Charles.

Or maybe they just don’t like the guy

By the way, I noticed they added UFC on ABC (in Abu Dhabi) for July 26.

That could mean UFC 318 for either July 19 or August 2nd. Around the rumored timeframe for Nola

Last year it was international fight week June 29
Denver on 7/13
Apex on 7/20
UFC 304 (in UK) on 7/27
Abu Dhabi on 8/3
Apex on 8/10
UFC 305 (in AUS) on 8/18

Still working on a date.. obviously it'll be announced soon but I don't think it's a PPV

UFC 320 in Mexico announced for Sept 13th

So that probably puts 318 on July 19 & UFC 319 in August (prob 8/16)

I still think it’s possible UFC Nola could be a PPV

How much we looking at for ringside? I see Miami is $10k but that’s a big card in a big city. I’m thinking Nola would be about $5k. Still to much for me, just curious. I’d like to sit on the floor if possible, I’d probably go up to $2k

If Poirier is the main, hence having the card in NOLA, I don't see how it could be a PPV.

I’m going to this. Great weekend trip to hit Tequila Mexico since it’s only a hour from Guadalajara.

If the BMF is on the line, it'll be a PPV. That and Dustin is a top 5 draw in the sport. No way Dana isn't cashing in on a PPV opportunity with this.

So I would imagine the UFC would want 3 months to promote this potential summer card. Wonder if we'll finally see confimation on this one after UFC 314.

UFC announced today that Dustin Poirier will be at the desk for UFC 314. At this point I would be shocked if Poirier's next fight isn't announced on the PPV broadcast.
