It's not like he's going to get a "real" title fight in his last fight. Max lost a title shot recently, so it's also not like you are derailing someone's ascent if they lose to Dustin on his way out, either. At least he can go out at the BMF champion, seems like that would be fitting and would be an entertaining last fight.

he already lost a fight for the bmf against gaethje. I dont see how you could be the bmf if you already lost a bmf fight. 
thats just my opinion. I also dont see the need for a 3rd max fight. Id rather see an Ilia or paddy fight.

Supposedly a Paddy fight was turned down for some reason, and they won’t waste a Topuria fight on Dustin. What if Dustin wins? You just burned a title contender for nothing. At least if Topuria fights Gaethje or Oliveira, it could potentially setup a title fight for the winner of that fight. With Gaethje just fighting, Oliveira makes sense.
