The only success Siver had was the leg kicks so that could be a problem.

Mcgregors complicated moves also got him in some compromising positions on the ground for a split second

Aldo would exploit that if he does that again

Connor also has never been kicked by anyone close to Aldo

Conor controls distance better than anyone so I don't see Aldos leg kicks being that much of an issue. I mean, Aldo barely out struck Chad Mini MEHndes and Conor is a MUCH better striker. Conor by head clean off in 2.

Mendes and most everyone Aldo has been fighting had the threat of wrestling. McGoat does not. Aldo can unleash the beast.

Obviously worrying about takedowns was a factor but Conor isn't scared, he trains with some very solid grapplers and we don't really know anything about his ground game. I think he will control the fight no matter where it goes. Conor bless!

Edgar would probably be McGregor's worst opponent stylistically in the division, but Aldo is probably #2 and it's going to be very difficult matchup

He's not taking aldo down, that's all we need to know. So comparing aldo striking vs Mendes to him vs McGregor is not relevant. Gsp out struck everyone but most of those guys would destroy him in a pure kickboxing match. Mendes and Edgar bring that threat to aldo and make his striking weaker. He can throw any kicks or Haymakers he wants against Conor without fear of being held down for the rest of the round.

I know he's their cash cow but I wanted to see him against a wrestler, Edgar or Mendez first.

Listening to Sherdog radio "Beat Down After the Bell" and TJ De Santis is not happy with McGregor.

Basically saying that Mendes would wipe the floor with McGregor.

TJ looks like a drunk retard, so he's always angry about something.

Sherdog made a good point though.

If it's a 50/50 crowd, half Brazil half Irish it's going to be the MGM Grand Security's worst nightmare.

Amen to that!

I dunno; are there that many degenerates rolling in the money it costs to fly and get tickets to Vegas from those countries.

Brazilians travel very well and should outnumber the Irish in Vegas. That will be one hell of an awesome weekend in Sin City.

And BJ Penn got arrested over the weekend. I bet BJ is a mean drunk

I doubt the Brazil crowd outnumbers the Irish crowd.. I think they'll probably have over 2000 tickets sold from Ireland.. they sold over 1100 for the Poirier fight and this is a much bigger fight on a holiday weekend..
