Gooden was a recreational user too - before it became a problem. As was Strawberry. The common problem with top flight athletes is also their greatest strength when competing...they feel above the fray such that they can control all the aspects of their life. Pride before the fall, so to speak.
I am not predicting that Jones will flame out due to addiction. However, I have some knowledge on this subject due to my profession. I am telling you that people that leave any rehab, be it drug or physical therapy after a knee replacement, prematurely have poor outcomes the vast majority of the time. People that listen to the professionals are normally alright in the end.

The rumor is he was told he didn't need to be there after speaking with the people there and letting them know he had only done it once or something like that. Dana said when Jones explains why he left after one day everyone will understand why.

Same! For the Jones fight I watched both football games and then the fight at a bar. I was so shite-faced I was surprised I remembered any of the fight and I plan on doing the same. Ill probably have to watch again the next day though.

Agreed. And I've been checking since last night
I really do enjoy the vlogs leading up to the fights, just like all of the Pride post fight behind the scenes videos in the locker room immediately after their fights. I hope the ufc expands and does more with these vlogs and starts doing more post fight stuff like Pride.

I love these but I do kind of miss Danas fight week vlogs. More post fight stuff would be cool, we could see even more of Burt running around calling everyone "baby".

Yeah, I don't know why they stopped Dana's fight week vlogs either. Good seeing both the fighter's & promoter's point of view leading up to the weekend. Definitely need more post fight content as well, that's where all of the emotion is. Have you ever seen the Pride videos post fight? Really good stuff.
