You also have to remember that he could gain a little weight and strength. He would probably fight at like 230-240.

true but his legs are so skinny and he's never had 1 punch ko power. I just don't think his style would translate well against guys who can pretty much tap you and you're going to sleep. A Mark Hunt or overeem legkick to those legs is an absolutely terrifying thought.

If he runs out of contenders like Anderson Silva did I can see them moving him up a little later in his career. Right now there Gus, Rumble, and maybe a repeat with Cormier left but other than that there is nobody in the division who is close to the discussion of a championship fight. I can maybe seeing them do a superfight with Weidman and Jones or Jones and Cain because if Cain blows by Werdum he's running out of people to fight.
