damn, I completely under estimated rashad. Mostly cause he hasn't fought anyone and looked boring as frick in his previous fights. He looked good tonight. Chuck needs to hang up the gloves.

Chuck needs to remember he is always introduced as a KICKboxer. Did he throw one leg kick. I know he threw a near miss head kick. He stood there and boxed a guy who is introduced as a boxer. I think Chuck's luck is just all used up. Stand there throwing haymakers with guys who can throw too and this has to happen every now and again.

The UFC can't be happy with this fight. This screws up there plans for 205 now. Rampage v Silva winner to fight winner of Griffin v. Lidell. That shite is out the window. Forrest didn't look too excited after at ringside. He probably knew he just lost some cash with that KO.

Who did he beat last. I can't remember.

I also think Forrest would be a better fight NOW. He would have good cardio and back pedal the whole freaking time waiting for Evans to screw up.

On the Ultimate Iceman documnetry deal on Spike TV, he said his manager told him for ever not to lead in with an uppercut. That's why Rampage ko'd him in the second fight because he got caught after leaving himself open after that upper cut. He said he would never do that again!!
Well he did it again last night and the result was lights out.

especially with your left hand WAY too low. His striking looks slower than it used to, and now his sloppy form can be exposed.

Chuck might have been high when his manager gave him that advice, he probably forgot.

palhares is a stud with grappling.

dan is no where near done. he has never really avoided many takedowns. i thought he had the perfect strategy for this fight.

i thought it was the wide looping long body shot that he threw at rampage?

maybe my channelsurfing.net or whatever it was may not have been too bright. but i thought chuck was picking him apart in the first round. i doze off about 2 minutes and all i hear is hes done or hes out.

i wouldn't call it picking Evans apart, but Chuck landed a few jabs. All Evans did was run, throw a few leg kicks, and wait for Chuck to get frustrated and sloppy.....and he did. Boring as hell to watch until the very end, but it worked.

yeah it seems chuck does get frustrated when one is patient with him.

I'm not a fan of the spawl and brawl technique, but Dan executed that as well as anybody.

yeah. he reminds of the tilt a whirl operator at the state fair on Airline that finally lost his shite and yelled at me for spitting tic tacs at him as i spun by. He was all calm, enjoying "Pour Some Sugar on Me", but my gameplan made him lose his mind momentarily and lose focus.

Well, for what it's worth: I think Marquardt is bad arse, and he looked great. I'm still disappointed in his Silva fight, but I think he's going to get a very strong fight next. I love his style.
