Presser for UFC 314 was this week.
Paddy seemed pretty good. I assume a lot of people are aware of a guy trying to bully one of Paddy's teammates so they ended up scrapping. Guy agreed to a no tap contest meaning you go out by being choked out or knocked out, basically. Paddy got to him fairly quickly and choked him. Dude tried tapping, Paddy didn't let go and people rushed in to break it up.
Around 11:30
John Morgan got the first question for Bryce Mitchell and immediately people booed Mitchell's name. His opponent, Silva, came out with a globe (round earth). Mitchell just opened up with quote from Jesus. He looks pretty focused and a bit angry. Silva started barking and Mitchell said, "You're barking up the wrong tree motherfricker."
Silva said, "Not even you believe in yourself."
Silva has "LORD" tattooed on his chest. Mitchell said, "You have the lord on your chest, I have the Lord in my heart."
This fight is going to be personal.

Huge opportunity for Bryce here. If he can beat Jean Silva and take his hype along with him now being a heel…he can say something else crazy and get another big fight.

Silva is a straight maniac. It almost feels like Bryce is getting served up to Dana's pet hellhound for his misdeeds. Bryce may need to have his Last Rites administered before the fight.

It does feel that way. Seems this goes one of two ways: either Bryce pulls the upset or gets humiliated. I feel like he's going to win this. I've only seen Silva in standup. Maybe Bryce can take him down and get a submission.

They were saying Bryce might be able to make it difficult for Silva because Silva had trouble getting taken down and wrestled vs. Charles Jourdain. And since Bryce is a better wrestler than Jourdain, he might be a real test for Silva.

Silva is a killer. Bryce will get slept. Main Event and Co-Main should be fantastic.

Agreed. If Bryce has any weaknesses, it'll be unearthed, targeted, and exploited by Silva and the Fighting Nerds camp.
