Who’s next for flyweight? Do we get a Moreno-Figuiredo pt 3?

Time for Nate Diaz to retire. The guy is 4-6 in his last 10 fights. He is a human punching bag. Nate has so much scar tissue on his face that his opponents just have to land a soft jab and Nate’s face will look like spaghetti.

He has to take the guaranteed money in a Conor trilogy fight (which Conor will NEED should he drop another to Poirier).

That fight will never happen. Conor gains nothing by beating Diaz again and Conor will get more money fighting just about anybody else.

He’s also in his early 40’s

It’s time for him to retire even though for being so one dimensional he’s still a good fighter.

Would like to see him do jiu jitsu events or grappling such as submission underground or Abu Dhabi

Askarov should get the next shot.

If Conor loses, you really think there’s even another big fight out there for him without another win streak? Sure, he’d outperform all or most of the roster in any other matchup money-wise, but he’s not rolling out of bed for less than huge money, which would only present itself with Diaz or Masvidal following only 1 win in 5 years.

Nate Diaz

Eta: if Conor loses to Poirier, I honestly don’t know what he does next. Maybe go to welterweight?
