That was a great fight also. Dustin took a beating it was like 6 months before his leg was back to normal.

Yeah I think it’d make sense. Would be a very hyped fight. Connor won’t fight Justin or porier.

you won't have to wait long ... in four days the UFC goes live Wednesday with "Fight Night: Smith vs Teixeira" on ESPN+ and then again next Saturday with "Fight Night: Overeem vs Harris" on ESPN

Going forward, every manager/agent in MMA will tell their fighter, "remember what happened to Tony Ferguson?", when a fighter thinks of saving cards and fighting a top 5 killer, instead of just going home and waiting for their deserved title shot.

Big night for Dana White.

Cejudo just babbled on for 25 minutes like he was Brett Favre retiring for the 8th time. What a total dipshit.

Dana just said that Tony went to the hospital. He also said he looked slow tonight.

"cutting weight twice in a month probably didn't help him any"

Dana When asked if he had been in contact with ESPN and the success of UFC 249 and ratings tonight...

"ESPN did very well tonight. They're very happy. They should have listened to me 3 weeks ago..."

the SJW, Democrats leading Disney/ESPN are the only reason the UFC didn't push forward over a month ago. they (Disney) completely ignored the fact that safety precautions were taken at extreme levels by Dana, and instead chose to bow down to the agenda.

can you imagine the TV ratings they would have gotten back in late March / early April when they almost made the FREE Fight Night on ESPN with Colby Covington vs Tyrone Woodley?

UFC’s bad for booking that shite in California. Should have done it in bfe middle USA.

Lol you talking about the dude that Stipe dominated and DC would too. The same guy who can't wrestle for shite. Big power puncher can't fight past the 1st round. He is knocking out dudes who are scared shitless begging to get punched by keeping their chins high and punching wild. Stipe took him down with ease what you think Cormier would do. DC would have him gasping for air and submitted within two rounds.

they had a damn Indian reservation set in California, yet California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) got pissed off and made a phone call to Disney threatening them and demanding that it be shut down .... think about that.

Gaethje's fight IQ is catching up with his physical talent. Makes for an extra scary dude

Not saying he would have won, but who knows how much ufc'sown and biggest business partner, ESPN, and the dipshit idiot governor of California cost Tony Ferguson personally.

Gaethje said himself he basically wasn't ready for Tony on short notice, but that extra 3 weeks essentially gave him a full camp to prep, while Tony had to mentally and physically stay in fight mode for an another month after prepping so hard for Khabib. Gaethje was also a bad matchup.

Let's just say Tony fought Khabib to an epic 5 round decision or even possibly won, you know there's immediedtly going to be a rematch and make both men tons more money.

Now we're probably going to get Khabib v. Gaethje in November or December and khabib will destroy the guy, and we basically won't hear from Tony again for a year or so and he likely won't ever get another title shot, and if he does he'll probably be 37 or 38, and not the same guy he was two months ago. He also may never be the same fighter after a double weight cut and that beating he just took at his age.

I think this is the major take away from last night.

Gaethje has evolved
